Hi! I’m Elise Battelle, an enthusiastic, dedicated, and skilled animation student in the Animation & Illustration program at San Jose State University. I’ve assembled some samples of my various animation and illustration projects that demonstrate the skills I’ve gained in 3D animation, character design, storyboarding, 3D modeling, and visual effects. You can view my resume here. During my education, I’ve gained valuable experience collaborating with a team of artists to create compelling and visually compelling animations. This includes participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas to enhance the overall quality of the animation projects. I’ve also applied animation principles to bring characters and scenes to life, ensuring consistency with the project's artistic vision. In addition, I’ve worked on tight deadlines, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

I’m proficient in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Maya, and Toon Boom Harmony. I have a solid grasp of 3D modeling and animation, with hands-on experience in creating engaging and realistic characters in environments.

I’m excited to talk to companies in need of an Animation Intern who will bring a dedicated, tenacious, creative, and team focused approach to everything I do. Gaining even more experience via an internship is something I’m excited about and will dedicate myself to.

You’ll see that I’ve been actively employed throughout my college and university experience. My various jobs have allowed me to fund my degree autonomously without help from my parents. This is something I’m very proud of. My various jobs have taught me important life skills in the areas of balancing multiple priorities, being on-time and working diligently and thoughtfully, teamwork, grit, client service, attention to detail, excellent communication and more. I’ve been working since I was 16 and through these experiences, I’ve gained confidence and understand the importance of being a responsible employee and team member.

While I prioritize school and creating art, I also love fasion, chess, binge watching Netflix and my cat Matcha.
